For several years I have tried to be more diligent about memorizing scripture. Verse Locker helps do that. There are many options within the app to help you commit verses to memory.

The Home Screen gives you many options some I have used and some I have not. From the Home Screen I created a collection of verses I wanted to memorize. Personally, I started with the verses from The Romans Road. Bible Tracker allows you to pick a reading plan. It doesn’t contain a Bible, so you have to use a Bible app for the Scriptures themselves. It does track your progress for the selected plan.
I do like the various ways that you can work on individual verse memory verses. Click on the “practice” option and get started. You have several options. The one I use the most is selecting the words from the passage in order. You can also work on the verse with the just the first letter of the word shown. The final method is typing the verse completely by memory.

There are options to listen to podcasts and read blogs. However, I have not used this part of the app so I cannot recommend it. If you would like to work with friends, there is an option to invite friends to join you in your quest. We can never go wrong with committing Scripture to memory.
Got Questions

Got Questions is one of my very favorite places to go with my questions about Bible topics. I am not as familiar with the app. I usually use the website www.gotquestions.org for my searches. However the app looks to be user friendly.
So far, the articles seem to be really strong Biblically. I see no reason not to trust the articles that I have read. I quote them quite frequently on this very blog.

On the Home Screen, you can type your question in the search bar. A list of appropriate articles will populate and you can choose from there. If you hit the “Explore Questions”, you will get a list of topics and the number of related articles. There are also some audio articles and videos, but I have not tried them. There is an option for selecting a random article. Maybe that is something I will try when I am driving or riding in a car.
If you are reading Scripture and you come across something you are unfamiliar with, try to find more information about it here. It is much more reliable than just doing a Google Search.
