Olive Tree was the first app I ever used for Bible study. I purchased my study Bible from here because it was too slow on Kindle. it has many features that I like.
There are several free Bible versions available. Many others are available for purchase. The “parallel” feature allows you to look at two versions at once.
Once you select a passage to read, click open the Study Center at the bottom. There is a wealth of information available here to deepen your study time. There is where you will see your installed Bibles and other resources.

The Resource Guide is where everything that the app has to offer that is free. Your purchased resources will also be here. You can find cross-references here as well as commentaries.
I have several commentaries that are free resources. Charts and maps will also be available here. If you keep scrolling in the Resource Guide, there are topics that relate to the current passage. I like the note feature during sermons as well.
At the top there are other items available. You can shop for resources either free or for purchase. You can purchase many books and load them for your studying. Once the books are purchased and downloaded they will become part of the resource guide and will be available with searches. There are also many reading plans available to assist your study.
I really like this app, but I have started using others more. However, I do still access my Study Bible when my paper copy is not handy.
