Bible Hub is an online resource that I use quite often. I will be honest, I usually use the online version rather than the app. I will do my best to tell you about the app.

The opening page is a shortcut of icons. I think you can figure out the majority of them. However, you might not be familiar with the “Interlinear” tab. If you want to study the Bible more fully, there is a wealth of information here.

Interlinear is the place you will find all the reverences to Greek and Hebrew words. The numbers are Strong’s references numbers for Greek and Hebrew. New Testament passages will give you Greek numbers while Old Testament passages will give you Hebrew numbers. Much can be gained by understanding the parts of speech and how it impacted the translation. I am in the process of exploring that information. I am a novice when it comes to Greek and Hebrew.

Along the top you can access the various Bible translations. The second bar has many options. I will attempt to give a brief description of each one.

PAR–particular verse in various translations–It is very helpful to read verses in different translations when you are trying to understand a verse.

STU–Study Bible notes–Study notes will give you much needed information about passages. There are several options to choose from.

AUD–passage in audio format–Listening to the Bible while reading is an excellent way to comprehend God’s word.

VIS–pictures related to the passage–Seeing pictures of the areas described makes the passages seem more real.

COM-commentaries–Commentaries can really give you much needed information to help understand a passage. There are many different options of commentaries.

INT–interlinear for Greek or Hebrew information–When I am really digging deeper into a passage, I check to see how the words have been translated from Greek or Hebrew. It can also be helpful to look up words in an English dictionary. It always provides additional information.

LEX–information about the word origins from a particular passage

STR–Strong’s Lexicon for Hebrew and Greek words–A lexicon is an in depth look at words from Greek and Hebrew languages. Greek and Hebrew both are complex languages with many nuances that are unfamiliar to us.

MLT–passages in multiple languages most of which I do not speak.

SUM–summaries of chapters of the Bible. Reading summaries of chapters can be very helpful. However, they are no substitute for reading the actual passage.

OUT–outlines of Books of the Bible. Outlining is an excellent skill to understand longer passages. Much can be gained by looking at outlines to understand the structure of a particular passage. It can be very beneficial to make your own outline.

TIM–timelines of Biblical stories. If you are unsure where something happened in Biblical history, check out the outline.

QUE–questions. People have many questions about Biblical topics. This is a great place to search for answers.

SER–various sermons. If you like to listen to sermons, this spot is for you.

TOP–Topical Bible–There are times when looking things up by topic can be very helpful.

BBB–books of the Bible at a glance. This is a quick summary of each book. It will give you some background information really quickly.

PCH–two versions read side by side–Looking at a larger passage with two versions at a time can really be helpful.

PSB–Parallel study Bible and Hebrew or Greek side by side

TSK–Treasury of Scripture Knowledge is similar to cross references. However, the passages seem to be related to isolated words and not the message of the verse.

LIB–Library–The library has additional resources about passages.

ABP–The spelling of Greek words can be found here along within the linear tab. This is not something I have ever needed, but then again, I am not a Greek expert.

HEB–If you happen to know Hebrew, you can read the word in Hebrew.

I encourage you to dive in and start exploring. You will never know the depth of information that you can find, until you start looking around. Start with your favorite verse and see what you can find. Please share what you learn.
