Women in the Bible

Esther is one of two women who have a book of the Bible named after them. She would become a deliverer of her people. She was an orphan from the tribe of Benjamin. She was a Jewish girl being raised by her cousin, Mordecai. King Ahasuerus was on the throne during the period of Esther.
