January is often associated with new goals so I want to challenge you to do something new in 2026. Let’s set a goal for 2026 to read and write verses from every book of the New Testament.

For the 31 days in January, I want to challenge you to write out specific verses and keep them in a journal of some sort. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or formal. It can be any notebook you have laying around the house. You can write them one right after another.

If you complete each of the 31 days, you will be entered to win a prize. You must take pictures of your scripture writing and post it in the Facebook group. Feel free to decorate it any way you wish or not at all. It is totally up to you. If you let me know you are participating, I will create a tag for you to post your entries under.

Guidelines for the contest:

  1. You must handwrite each passage. You will have 31 when you finish.
  2. Number your entries so you can keep track of where you are.
  3. Your entries can be written on any type of paper.
  4. Comment on the Facebook post that you are participating in the challenge and I will create a tag for you to post your entries.
  5. You must post pictures of your pages to the Facebook post.
  6. Entries must be uploaded by midnight on February 2.
  7. Only completed challenges will be included in the drawing.
  8.  You can post them little by little or all at once.
  9. One winner will receive a copy of my Scripture Writing and Prayer Journal the Gospels, Part 2.
  10. A sample has been provided. I just used a notebook that I already had.
  11. Comment below if you plan to participate.

Let me know what you think.
