What is the role of women in the church?
Have you really thought about your God-given role in the church? Our society has taught us that women can do anything a man can do. Is that really the plan God has for women? The best place to examine this concept is to look to Scripture. The Word of God will direct us in this and all other aspects of living.
We will look at the different viewpoints of the roles of women in the church. I will examine each and let Scripture give the answer. God’s Word will be the ultimate authority on this topic. We will look at specific women and how each one fits into the big story of Scripture.
What roles in the church are acceptable for women? Are there any limitations on what women can and cannot do in the church? If there are limitations, does that mean that God doesn’t have a high opinion of women?
